qUINTA DO PINHEIRO

Our branding for Quinta do Pinheiro reflects the farm’s legacy and its natural surroundings in the Ria Formosa reserve. Timeless serif fonts and custom made illustrations of the local flora and fauna, including the logo's little-ringed plover, honor its history and biodiversity, while photos from an antique fishing diary found in the farm, help give context to its rich heritage.

We aimed for a classic and intemporal design. Focusing on history and understated luxury. The idea was sophisticated but not ostentatious. Earthy tones, elegant stationery, and eco-conscious materials, complete this project that includes: graphic identity, stationery, copy and website.

Each of the five houses at Quinta do Pinheiro tells a unique story, captured in custom illustrations by Hugo Portinha inspired by local flora and fauna, transformed into timeless seals. For the website, we paired these seals with vintage local archives, elements from an antique fishing journal found on the property, and earthy colours and textures, creating a design that feels both grounded and evocative.

From the blackbird of Casa da Avó to the jacarandás of Casa das Flores, each design reflects the natural beauty and history of this special place. Rooted in tradition, these symbols honor the Algarve’s rich landscape and the quiet charm of Quinta do Pinheiro. They embody a visual language that feels both ancient and immediate, a reflection of the land, its stories, and of the understated luxury of the renovated historic farmhouse.
