Jangada (restaurant)

For this project ee started with the name itself, and then all the branding, menu design and lots of bits and pieces. The chosen name had to reflect sustainability and the proximity to the sea. Jangada was our first choice (it means raft), specially in a restaurant where lots of materials were salvaged and where wood plays the central role.

Then, we started to play with all things wood, a branch finishes the logo and lots of wood textures play central role on the collateral materials. Naming, logo, signage, placemats, calling cards, coasters, menus, tissue paper, stamps and some more bits and pieces for @jangadaericeira. We used all recycled papers in green, kraft and off white and kept the wood textures throughout. Tying the name (it means raft), the pizza wood oven and the sustainable nature of the restaurant decor. Seafood and pizza lovers shouldn’t skip it.
