INFAME

In 1908, when this place was originally built, Almirante Reis was still Av. Queen D.Amélia. The same year, the King was assassinated and that Queen tried to defend her husband wielding a flower bouquet while shouting INFAMOUS!

Then there is Intendente. The previously-infamous, now going-great neighbourhood where this restaurant is located. Infame (it means infamous in portuguese) seemed like the perfect fit.

Together with the restaurant's stunning building this concept of old meets decadent, was the starting point to all the graphic identity. I started with a tough-lived hand-written logo and went from there to everything from various menus, dish names, table mats, coasters, foxy pin up matchboxes, wooden signage, food packaging, copy, and a custom built website. All this with lots of meetings over marvellous food and some of the best cocktails in Lisbon.
